Claudia on her birthday
It was pretty wild and blurry.

Wall St.
Lots of buildings and people on Cell phones.
Also really fancy gyms and lots of tourists equipped with camera flashes.
Seriously the BEST collection of photography art books ever.
DASHWOOD NYC!
A day off work.
Hanging with Laura.
She lives in a rad basement on the west village filled with mags and old rock records.
Patriotism on Wall St.

I have lost track of how many parties I have been to now...
Most nights I am too dazed to even take pictures.

This is not Taylor Swift.
It was hilarious that most people at Norwood thought Valeria was Taylor Swift.
I had no idea why all the camera flashes were going off around us.
I think they gave me too much food.
Today I was pretty damaged from last night's events
So i tried to tidy my living space and pack some of my clothes away into my duffel bag
My first real meal happened at this little chinese take out place around the corner from me at Brooklyn.

I find it perplexing how Americans are so obsessed with having lots of meats (and Fried Rice) - most Chinese restaurants default with Fried Rice on most rice plate dishes.

I was pretty hungry when I got to the take out place and I wasn't really thinking about how much food I was going to get.

I ordered the Grilled Chicken with fried onions and capsicum and four fried wings (I think this was my first fried chicken experience - the Coney Island Popeye's chicken was not very pleasant - again it was my first meal of the day after 4hours of sleep from the night before). I was excited to dive into my food as my stomach could not handle the wait any longer (my average food intake has been around 1 meal to date - unless my friends had organised dinner in advance or I am walking around for hours then I might snack too)

I took the photo half way through my meal, I actually ended up with 8 fried chicken wings instead of 4! I had no idea how it happened but I don't like to see food go to waste so I just scoffed it all down.

If I was concerned with calories.... there is seriously not a whole lot I can eat in the states with my living patterns.
This is also my reason for walking everywhere I travel, because I eat often recklessly and find food in proximity to where I reside rather than by deliciousness.

Walking in the rain is a little annoying
especially when you don't have an umbrella.
I don't like to carry them
If i had an umbrella
I wouldn't be able to take pictures while I walk..
it is ok when the rain is not too heavy

it might look a bit confronting at first
but after a while... you just accept the garbage on the sidewalk is part of the cityscape.

Walking is the best way to see the city.

Late Nights.
This is seriously one of the best stores in NYC easily!
if you like music and films of the rare kinds, you must VISIT KIM'S.

I had been to the Tribeca Grand for so many nights during fashion week after parties.
I feel like it has been like a home away from home.
This photo was taken on the way to the hotel.
It was raining and I like the way the water reflected off the street.
I don't remember too much after I enter the hotel.
I have been eating all kinds of random American treats
This gigantic plate of burger is at a diner in Chelsea.
It was a totally modernised old school diner fit out matched with game show tunes and 80s jazz.
It was very surreal and I was starving so the food servings were appropriate for once.

SO Excited to get these on my FACE soon!
They have been FEDEX to NY for me. =)
thank you CON x GRAZ.
The New Mueseum is so good.
A good view from the Bowery too.
I think I got photographed by the Sartorialist when I left the museum too... but I could be wrong.
Either way the museum is pretty stellar.
if you like Emory Douglas or David Goldblatt, you should definitely go to the Museum.

PERSONAL. PERSONAL.
ANother day from Brooklyn to Long Island (PS1 museum).
I LOVE PS1, it is probably the best contemporary art gallery I have seen so far.

Sometimes you want to just chill out....
Ways to combat Hang overs...
Option 1: Coconut Juice/Water via Corner shops.
Option 2: medication via local pharmacy, probably panadol to numb the pain.
Option 3: Greasy Indian diner to satisfy your hunger and drown your face with delicious sauces.
This was my first live show in NYC last night Excluding the Cool Kids @the SOB's last week
It was not really the type of show I'd normally go to but it was fun.

Last night, we went to the Under the Track's show at Chelsea and
I really liked this band, they are called These Are Powers!

This is my hood.
Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

such a nice intersection spot!
Rachel is a bit of a muse to many people.
Especially photographers.
Tonight I was feeling so loose, I was struggling to hold onto any conversation
.... but I am glad we got to hang out.

Everything looks smaller from the Empire State Building.
I like how dense the buildings are clustered in different parts of the city.
