Those kids you see around town

I have been meaning to see SnobScrilla for ages now. The very first time I saw them was at my friend's store - the Annual Another" Block party where people were rampant, drunk, happy, drunk then Cops would come surprised and Ritchie will try to brush them off but the amount of drunk people on Burton st is just not a easy sell to the police that it is a friendly happy party. Anyway, it was an amazing night as always with those kids, so loose but if it wasn't for my camera I'd probably not have too much of a recollection.

At times I feel like Guy Pierce in Momento and I really should stop drinking but by the time I make that commitment, the weekend is already here and my detoxing phase was somewhat of a mixed success story, I was feeling super heavy but mad anti social (at least my friends would say) then last week when the booze touched my lips I was more delirious than ever!

My friends said they have never seen me like that before and it was amazing. I correct them in the saying, it was the detox that had me my reunion with alcohol all the more spectacular.

Anyway, tonight I stumbled acrossed a tiny URL that had coincidentally led me to the Snobscrilla's new tracks. Aww it is nice to get a little unexpected trip to go down memory lane and looking at some old pixxx. You will probably see the Snobscrilla gang back in town real soon and after listening to the tracks, I definitely don't want to miss anymore shows and just get looooooose with them all !!!

Birthday Party can lead to fuzzy heads

I am back on the party bus, after a seemingly long period of abstinence and detox I feel great physically but I had no idea the potential damage my body was about to face with upcoming parties and events where alcohol is again rampant especially when it is a 21st. It was Jakob and Erin's 21st party on Friday and the theme was body/facepaint.... inspired by the Warhol Factory.

I have not been this loose in ages, my body is slowly adjusting to alcohol again haha
Fun times.

Beach town

Thanks for another stellar night put together by the CLAMBAKE gang. I got there around 1 and was greeted by the cops but they were really cool and decided to let us party in the wind anyway.

It was totally Cold and windy but dancing in the sand gives you better looking calves so it was ok!

Back in town

I am back and feeling as Fresh as Daisies!

The first weekend back in Sydney was pretty gnarly
Maybe it was the water or the sun out in the coast but everything in Sydney just seems to be way hectic. I have to admit, I did miss my friends and having heard some pretty rad parties over new years, it sure gave me some mixed feelings or at least wanting to get the power of teleportation even more so I can party hop effortless and without the help of cabs!

Anyway the next best thing for me was going to the first No Answer of the year, it was actually pretty sensible but understandable considering most people I know have been partying for 5 days straight and going into No answer would be quite a task. Anyway for those who did turn up, I was very stoked to see them and all hanging out.

It is good to be back, at least to be chilling with some familiar faces x

It was also Rebecca's last weekend in Sydney before she ventures out to conquer the Modelling sphere of Japan.
She is going to be everywhere, I am pretty sure the designers will dig her look when she gets the wheel in motion.

Radge is just full of love.

The girls - Saz, Bel, Emma and Jessie. Always fun to hang out with!

I love these kids too. Jo forever so colorful. Bowen the photographer extraordinaire and Kate is just rad.

Cam looks like a Margiela model.

The always inspiring muse - Cody Bayliss.

Max is just magical.

Yonah and Lu are as sweet as bubblegum.

Sirens DJ and Bec.

Coast Life for NYE

Happppppy New Year Kids!

Counting down to 2009 @ Wembi.

I can't believe the new year has started.
2008 was a bit of a blur but it has been an amazing year, so many good things have happened and I am totally stoked for the next 12 months ahead....
To recharge my batteries, I decided to miss the Sydney parties to go for a short drive to the Central coast for some chill time with a few high school mates and their buddies.

A change of scenery can be metaphorically appropriate for beginning a new year right? Plus I am seriously trying hard to be as sober as possible.... and staying in Sydney would have just been impossible.

So I spent a few days swimming and chilling by the pool and beach, it was nice and I caked on the zinc over my sleeve to keep the colour fresh. I think I will make a custom sleeve to protect the ink though, Zinc just feels too thick.. sticky icky is not very nice

An early xmas

Photos from Ho Ho Hoes.

Siren DJs @ Ho Ho Hoes
A few of my friends decided to throw a party on a Sunday night at the good ol' Gilligans (ex-Gaybash).
Most people I knew were already 3 days into the partying, while I was MIA..

I have been working a lot the past few week, Saturday was my last assisting gig for the year which was thrilling but a bit sad too.
The shoot was for Karen Mag, an editorial story with Jessica Hart, she is a pretty amazing girl to work with and the shoot went really well, I got to use a few different lighting set ups and a smoke machine woo. =)

The assisting gig has been really good and I feel like I have been fast tracked to be working with all these amazing people in such a short amount of time...2009 should be even more amazing now that I know a little bit more about the work and people involved.
By Sunday, I was really missing my friends and really wanted to get out and have a dance with them all. Naturally Monday I slept in.... and was not working =)

Andy Uprock, Elvis Di Fazio and Val getting their pose on.

Rose is back from Paris! YAY!!. We worked together on a Kluster mag shoot a while back. You can see her on the Klustermag issue 5 - Desert Rose story

Aaron is chilling by the DJ booth and being tops as usual =)

Emma + Confetti = Awesomeness!

Kevin B is a dancing machine.

I just met Natalia that night.... but we have a few mutual friends and she is pretty rad too. Woo to mutual friends.

Elvis making sure Eddie looks good as Santa.

Steph is back in town as well...model extraordinaire and avid blogger.

Mitch is an amazing Bow tie designer and Cody stylist extraordinaire.always love hanging out

Michael and Dorian from the Teenagers are back in Town again for a NYE show @ Manning bar.

Steph (Batwoman) and Matt Saville (All around awesome dude but too hot to wear the Batman suit all night) just being amazing in general.
