I really like this piece, it is simply excellent.

I watched this documentary "B.I.K.E" a few weeks ago.
It is excellent and filled with interesting characters who all share a love for Bikes.
You should check it out if you have an interest in sociology and contemporary bike culture. 


This film gives you a gritty and visually arresting insight into the inner workings of the brooklyn chapter of the black label bike club.

jeremy geddes is an incredible painter, I came across his works a few years back
you might like his works too, he does beautiful shading and the subject matter is always a little unusual at first glance but always stunning in composition.

My external hard drive is filling up so I decided to go through my archives to do some cleaning up and in the process I had rediscover some of my older shots that I have not seen in a while. I will try to post some more older photos frequently on the blog.

Alison Mosshart is one of the best live performers I had ever got the pleasure to photograph.
It was an amazing night and the show was very memorable.
I am glad I got a set of photos to remember the night by.

Last night, I couldn't sleep so I flicked on the ABC and came across this great documentary called Genius of Photography produced by the BBC.

I didn't know what I was watching at the time, as I missed the first 10 minutes but I started the bit when they introduced Robert Frank's work and first book produced in France and I was hooked.

If you like Photography, you should definitely check it out.

I stumble across Enter the Void a few days ago, it sounds pretty special.
The Dazed interview gives you a bit of an insight to the workings of the production, it definitely looks like more than method acting.

For those who haven't been to Tokyo, Drug culture is extremely covert, since the law enforcement do not really give you a slap on the wrist but you get dealt with pretty seriously (not as bad as Thailand but still pretty intense). So if you like me have a bit of an obsession with drug culture but do not like the idea of prisons, this film might be fulfilling.

This story should give you just the right kick into the underground drug and sex scene of Tokyo, presumably with a psychological twist that will probably make you feel slightly uneasy.

Wild Beast @Oxford Art Factory, Sydney 2010.

Last night made me realised, how infrequently I actually do take photos at a gig these days. Before the curtain opens.... I always feel like I am about to start a race and hope the lights will be well adjusted enough for me to get a few presentable photos for whom I am taking the photos for.

Anyway I got to see Wild Beast again at the Oxford Factory right after seeing them at the Sydney Laneway festival.

It was very enjoyable performance but the lighting was a bit tricky... luckily the photos turned out pretty well.
The whole set should be available on the Kluster Gallery in a few days.
